1977
The company was established in Serém de Cima, Águeda, manufacturing fibreglass products — supplying components to the construction industry and the two-wheeled vehicle sector.
1980
Drawing on its expertise in composite materials, the company expanded into the bathroom sector, commencing production of acrylic baths and shower trays.
1998
Development and integration of hydromassage systems into the product range.
2003
The company decided to specialise in shower trays, bathtubs, shower enclosures, and shower columns.
2012
Significant expansion of the production facility, with investment in infrastructure and technological capability.
2019
Beginning of the development of Planstone, the company's own proprietary composite material.
2024
ASD was acquired by the RODI Industries Group, marking the beginning of a new phase of strategic consolidation and structural reinforcement.

Repositioning of the brand as ASD Bath.
